William J. McAdam
President & Chief Executive OfficerW.J. (Bill) McAdam joined Aux Sable Liquid Products Inc. as Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer in January 2000. Mr. McAdam was named President and CEO of Aux Sable, (Aux Sable Liquid Products Inc. and Aux Sable Canada Ltd.) in April 2001.
Prior to joining Aux Sable, Mr. McAdam held progressively responsible positions with Imperial Oil from 1974 to 1994 in the Engineering, Refining, and Olefins/Polyolefins. His experience included assignments in Exxon Chemical’s worldwide headquarters (New York), Agricultural Chemicals (Edmonton), Corporate Planning (Toronto) and Natural Gas Liquids (Calgary). He served as General Manager of Imperial Oil’s NGL Business Unit from 1990 to 1994.
Mr. McAdam began his association with Aux Sable while he was an independent consultant working on several initiatives including the Alliance/Aux Sable project during its development phase from 1995 to 1998. From 1998 to 1999, he was President of Mapco Canada Energy Inc.
Mr. McAdam graduated from Queens University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and earned his Master of Business Administration degree from McMaster University in 1980.
Mr. McAdam currently serves on the board of directors of the Gas Processing Association (“GPA”), Propane Energy Research Council (“PERC”), and Three Rivers Manufacturing Association (“TRMA”), and is a former board member of the Petrochemical Feedstock Association of the Americas (“PFAA”).
