Vice President & General Counsel
Katherine joined Aux Sable Liquid Products Inc. in September 1999 as Associate General Counsel. She was named General Counsel in April 2000 and appointed Vice President and General Counsel in January 2001.
Prior to joining Aux Sable, Katherine spent 18 years in the oil and gas industry, holding various professional and managerial positions. She began her career as a Corporate Attorney from 1982 until 1987 with AMF Tuboscope. From 1987 through 1989, she was in private practice. From 1989 until 1998 she was General Attorney for Petro Source Partners Ltd.
She went on to be retained by ARCO to oversee and handle the day-to-day legal affairs of Union Texas Petrochemical Corporation, prior to, and during the sale of this subsidiary to the Williams Company. She continued in this role for the Union Texas assets until her employment with Aux Sable.
Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science (Cum Laude) from Benedictine University, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston. She has also earned her Master of Business Administration degree (Cum Laude) in Finance from Rice University 1996 and went on to earn a second concentration in Operations Management in 1998.
