The Aux Sable Story
Aux Sable’s vision is to be a market leader in the midstream gas processing and NGL industry within selected regions of North America where Aux Sable can profitably develop and expand competitive advantages.
Aux Sable was established as a key part of the Alliance-Aux Sable dense phase gas system that commenced operation on December 1, 2000. Two companies were established, one in the U.S. (Aux Sable Liquid Products or “ASLP” located in Channahon, Illinois) and one in Canada (Aux Sable Canada or “ASC” located in Calgary, Alberta) to manage the natural gas liquids (NGLs) business associated with the Alliance Pipeline. In 2010, a second U.S. company Aux Sable Midstream or "ASM" was established to focus on other midstream developments in the United States. ASLP and ASM are both owned by Enbridge (42.7%), Veresen (42.7%) and Williams (14.6%). ASC is equally owned by Enbridge and Veresen.
